As I KNOW that you are all going to vote tommorow, I wanted to provide my Arizona readers NO EXCUSE to forgo the elections, based on “lack of information”

So below, are the Propositions on the Arizona ballot. (and some Jeremy R. Gilby commentary)

Did Ya Vote Yet?

Filed under: Mindless BanterJeremy @ 5:09:00 PM

Just a friendly reminder.

(By the way, I’ll be looking at the results to see who DID Vote.)

Yeah, I’m that choleric.

Well, would you look at that?

Filed under: LocalJeremy @ 9:14:18 AM

The results are pretty much in, and wow, what a turn out!

I’d like to thank all the Pima County residents who turned out to the polls.
For the first time in a long time, the voter turnout was over 50%!!!!

And, in more interesting news, an election that was heralded to be a Democratic Victory, across the country, is now a Republican Wingding.

Planet X – Nibiru – Whatever….

I guess this is my aggrivation typing.

A colleage of mine approached me on Saturday night and asked be an obtuse question: “What do you know about Planet X?”

My responce, “The Foolish movement to find a planet, or the planet?” (A La the Simpsons dig on Planet of the Apes.)

And Telly went about telling me about this foolish sounding theory he heard from his Brother about the planet Nibiru and its collision course with Earth on May 15, 2003.

(At first, I didn’t know how to respond. Of course I was skeptical, but I didn’t have enough information to commuinicate my skepticism.)

But now I do, and boy am I angry.

I guess this is my way of preparing my circle of friends from a bunch of crap comming in the next five years.

My Thesis: Scientologists did not corner the market on idiocy.

I keep telling myself it isn’t a demotion. But it feels like it is. That is the trap I fall into.

Humble ReEvaluation

More people read this website then I imagined.

Today, in the Cubicle Jungle, I was accosted by several people (including the Director of Supportability) in regards to the remarks I made here.

After speaking my mind about a few things. I learned that all hope is not lost

Happy Thanksgiving

Like Independence Day, I’ve never really been fond of Thanksgiving, until quite recently.

For those who are curious, I spent this day with my good friend Kirk, and his Wife Regina. They hosted a Thanksgiving gathering for my local group of friends. (The rest of the Geek Brigade went to other simmilar events or spent the time with family in Tucson and Phoenix.)

This year, I was honored with cooking one of the two turkeys served at our feast. This is the second turkey I have cooked without the watchful eye of my mother. (The best cook EVER!) (Regina cooked the second one.) (Aside: Being only my second turkey, it got rave reviews! – YAY ME!)

More importantly, Kirk asked that I share the story of Thanksgiving to his guests, before the meal was served.

It went something like this:

Christmas Movies

Now that the Holiday Season is officially here. (For me it began on Thanksgiving Eve). I thought I would share my top three Christmas Movies of all time.

This list was first forged in Pennsylviania, with my best friend Mike, when we got out of high school. (Essentially, these are the three movies we have to see every Christmas.) This list is so accurate, it stood the test of time, (and two and a half time zones) to make it to Arizona, and my circle of friends here.

… Drum roll please…
