The Spirit of 1776
Eleven Score and Seven Years ago: (Two Hundred and Twenty Seven years ago.), the Continental Congress officially adopted the last draft of Declaration of Independence. The first document of its kind, and quite possibly the final political manifestation of the European Renesance.
It was a hostile document, designed to do one thing, cleave the United States from the Brittish Empire.
What would come of it? The United States is living history of it.
