Human Dynamics: The Mental Dynamic

Filed under: Mindless BanterJeremy @ 9:28:45 AM

As I discussed in the previous post: Human Dynamics: A Principle Approach, there are 3 Centers for personality.

  • Physical (15% of the population)
  • Mental (5% of the population)
  • Emotional (80% of the population)

And there are 5 major Personality Dynamics:

  • Physical-Mental
  • Physical-Emotional
  • Mental (Mental-Physical)
  • Emotional Subjective (Emotional-Physical)
  • Emotional Objective (Emotional-Mental)

Mental Centered people are the most linear in their though processes.

The Mental Principle is associated with the activities of the mind. It is expressed in a person’s capacities for:
    logical thinking
    objectivity
    seeing the overview
    stratigic planning
    establishing values and principles
    maintaining focus
    Setting structure

Mentally centered people are usually detached have clear perspective and vision. They carry well-defined values and focus on the long term.

Emphases:

    concepts
    structures
    ideas

Process:

    linear
    logical
    sequential

Mentally Centered people make up only 5% of the Western population, and almost the entirety of that 5% is Mental-Physical (which was truncated to simply “Mental” to relieve any confusion with the Physical Mental Dynamic.)

Human Dynamics: The Emotional Subjective Dynamic

Filed under: Mindless BanterJeremy @ 9:05:29 PM

As I discussed in the previous post: Human Dynamics: A Principle Approach, there are 3 Centers for personality.

  • Physical (15% of the population)
  • Mental (5% of the population)
  • Emotional (80% of the population)

And there are 5 major Personality Dynamics:

  • Physical-Mental
  • Physical-Emotional
  • Mental (Mental-Physical)
  • Emotional Subjective (Emotional-Physical)
  • Emotional Objective (Emotional-Mental)

The Emotional Center is often described as Relational, or even chaotic, compared to the lineal, logical or systematic of the Mental and Physical Centers. However, at the same time, the Emotional Center is the most intuitive, which the other two centers lack.

In my experience, women tend to be more Emotional Centered, then men, but a lot of men are emotionally centered.

I mean, how many times, guys, have you been toiling over a problem, and a woman (doesn’t matter who) comes along, takes one look at the situation and solves it, just by gut instinct? That is the power of their intuition.

The Emotional Principle is the principle of relationship and connection. It is that part of us that knows and values the world of feelings in ourselves and each other. It is also the part that needs and offers communication and that knows how to collaborate and organize. It is expressed in a person’s capacities for:

    self awareness
    good organizational skills
    flexible
    creative
able to find the middle ground between diversity and focus.

Emotionally centered people are well aware of their own feelings without being dominated by them. They express those feelings appropriately, by being both communicative and empathic, and form positive relationships with others.

Emphases:

    relationships
    organization

Process:

lateral (by emotional association rather then logical connection)

Emotionally Centered people make up 80% of the Western population, and almost the entirety of that 80% is Emotional Objective and Emotional Subjective.

Today, I would like to talk about the Emotional-Physical, or the Emotional Subjective.

Demographics

Filed under: LocalJeremy @ 10:33:06 AM

Well, its only a matter of time now.

News has been spreading that Phoenix (a nearby metropolis to Tucson) will soon surpass Philadelphia (a nearby metropolis in the Megalopolis I lived in for 21 years) as the fifth largest city in the United States.

Philly had this title since 1981, and I remember the celebration well (though I forget who Philly ousted. I think it was Boston.)

As of right now, the standings look like this:

  1. New York
  2. Los Angelis
  3. Chicago
  4. Houston
  5. Philadelphia
  6. Phoenix

Now Philly, the city of Brotherly love, is on the receiving end (and boy is it getting ugly.)

More Philly Stuff

Filed under: Mindless BanterJeremy @ 9:37:23 AM

After reading my post regarding the Philadelphia vs. Phoenix Title Fight, My little sister Angela had a few facts to share regarding the city with the most attitude.

While I’ve only lived in PA for 21 years, Angie has lived her entire life in the Shadow of the City of Brotherly Love. (And even though she talks like a New Yorker, Which I still have yet to understand how that is possible, she knows her Philly-talk. So listen up!)

And on the subject of Sports Teams, Ang, reminded me about the continued controversy regarding the sports arenas.

The news has taken the family by shock, as just several weeks ago, we all celebrated her 80th Birthday, and she was in good spirits.

Boom! Boom! Out go the Lights!

Filed under: Mindless BanterJeremy @ 7:23:27 AM

Well, as most of you know, New York area suffered a major blackout last week. So I had to say something about it.

How long has it been since Times Square was in darkness?
How long has it been since Lady Liberty was not lit up, as a beacon in the night?
The City that Never Sleeps, as Frank Sinatra put it, was out “Like a light”

While this was considered a disaster, I had to think about the long history of the city, and the tacit streaks that were broken.

Dictation

From the “Things-That-Made-You-Go-Hmmmm? Department

In this age of freedom from Tyranny, and other Political Nastiness, I thought a little bit about the current dictators we have in the world today:

You know the names:

  • Saddam Hussein (a.k.a. The Mustache)
  • Fidel Castro (a.k.a The Beard)
  • Bill Clinton (a.k.a. The Democrat) (ooops, did I type that out loud?)
  • Charles Taylor (a.k.a. Three Buck Chuck)
  • But deep down, the most entertaining has to be:

  • Qadhafi Muammer Muhammed a.k.a. Muammar Abu Minyar al-Qadhafi

For those of you who came in late, I’m slowly developing a few constants that I’m keeping track of, to make sure there are no unexpected deviations.
