The history of politics is an interesting subject for me.
If its Electoral College Demographic History to the taxonomy of what makes a Republican a Republican and what makes a Democrat a Democrat.
For example: The Democratic Party of John F. Kennedy, is not the Democratic Party of today. There was a major shift during the Eisenhower/Kennedy/Johnson and Nixon Administrations which made a lot of people switch parties.
I’d like to think it was around Civil Rights, or Vietnam, but it was probably something much deeper, much more philosophical. And I’m probably a little naive on the subject, because I was born at the end of this transition.
But, I’m hearing a lot of people on both party lines complaining about their particular political party.
