You may have noticed that Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com was down for 24 hours. It just recently came up.

I noticed that several other sites hosted by this particular webhost (including the webhost’s main site) was also down. I figured a server needed kicking.

Earlier this year, G.B. was telling me of the latest weekly activity in Rachael’s Pre-School. Each Week is show-and-tell for a letter of the alphabet. When Ang told me of the activity, it was week “J” and though her mother and father coaxed Rachael to bring in a picture of her Uncle Jeremy, she chose to bring in Jell-o instead.

Today would have been Gerry’s 66th Birthday

There has long been a false debate, in this world, about which is better, Pirates or Ninjas.
Some would say Pirates (and they would be correct)
Others would say Ninjas (and they would just be silly)

Clearly, we now have proof which group is better, and new information about this eternal struggle.

Book Review: The Thirteen Gun Salute

Filed under: Books,ReviewsJeremy @ 1:00:25 PM Tags:

I crossed Patrick O’Brian’s The Thirteen Gun Salute off of the Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com Reading List this weekend.

I appreciated the title of the book, as this is the thirteenth book in the Aubrey-Maturin Series. It was also the number of cannons which should have been used to salute one of the characters in the book.

And Now your Earth Day Moment of Zen:

I may be right, or maybe wrong, but when I picture environmentalists, or even worse, envirofascists, I see these crazy loons.
