I have actually more than one Doctor Friend in the Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com Vicinity (Not just The-Evil-Doctor-Merlin-Channing-Lowe-Jr.) and I think that they are fed up with this H1N1 Swine Flu Hysteria.

Everyone suffers from this, in some way or another, every new year, and we are still stuck in last year.
You know what I’m talking about, that period of time that you still think it is Last Year, and not the current year, when writing the date down. Your brain is still wired in the previous memorized numbers.

It usually takes a day, or a week, or two to get out of the habit and then you are good to go.

We’re now over 100 days into Barack Obama’s Presidency, and I’m still subconsciously in the Bush Administration.

As many of you know, I’ve been using two Movie Services for years now:

• MovieLens
• Netflix

I used MovieLens, for years, to help me decide what movies I would like, or might not like, before I watch them (and I’ve been quite pleased with the results)
Netflix is the service I use to rent movies, online, and receive DVDs through the mail.

President Obama has announced his first Nomination to the Supreme Court, Currently Judge Sotomayor serves as a Circuit Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

I have to say, honestly, I’ve not studied much about President Obama’s potential nominees, partially because I have not had the energy to, and also because I really wasn’t too concerned about this nomination.

I learned this week, that what has been called, “The Most Infamous Rock and Roll Movie of the Eighties”, is celebrating 25 years of “Tap-stravagance.”

That’s right, “This is Spinal Tap” is 25 years old.
