After a few too many geeks and tasty adult beverages, was a discussion of the best version of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol.

One person mentioned that Patrick Stewart performed one.

Given that opening, I used my Captain Picard impersonation (which sounds more like Sean Connery than Patrick Stewart) and threw out lines from A Christmas Carol.

It went downhill from there…

I mentioned in a Previous Article about an observations I’ve been making on the behavior of life I’ve witness, and how people interact with each other.

A lot of the everyday problems are a result of this awful dichotomy of Ignorance and Arrogance.

For example, when you see a ginormous SUV parked in a spot clearly labeled “Compact Cars Only”…
Was that driver Ignorant of the sign? Or Arrogant, and thinking that the sign does not apply to them, at that time.
Either answer is not good.

Sorry for the lack of text, but there is a story behind it.

See, on Saturday, I woke up in the Jeremy-Gilby-dot-Compound and found I had no access to my Jeremy-Gilby-dot-Email, or the Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com website proper.

I thought it was another server outage. Since I just recently applied for a job, and was expecting some kind of communication.

It wasn’t until Tuesday, when I accessed the internet away from the house that I learned it was something else.

As 2009 comes to a close, some are calling it the end of the decade. (Did we not learn this lesson in 2000?)

Anyways, I guess when a digit counter resets, it is a big deal and one should look back and pontificate…

Some have also said that the 20-Aughts were the worst decade ever. Seriously, EVER.
