Happy New Year, Philadelphia!

Your team is the NFC East Champion.
Again.

They are 10-6.
They are the 3rd seat in the playoffs.

And their last win was done by the second string.

Wow!

The NFC East championship was in the bag as:
And the most hated team in football lost to possibly the WORST team in Football, as The Dallas Cowboys lost to Detroit.

With the Giants winning in Washington Yesterday, the Eagles meet their division rival next week, in Philly, as the Giants are the second wildcard.

(Did you catch that? There are THREE NFC East teams in the NFC Playoffs.)

Yeah, the NFC East is a tough division.

(And its always nice to watch Atlanta falter in the Philadelphia Cold.)

But wow, 2006 was a wild ride in the Eagles locker room.

2007 Here we come!

I need a cheesesteak.

Well, it’s easy. Reid is the better coach (today and for the last few years). Send back all the has-beens and the college coaches. It’s not working.

I can Raider-Trash-Talk all day, but not like This:

Oakland clinches opportunity to make one unlucky player the No. 1 pick in the draft

Thanks to the Detroit Lions’ winning and their own loss to the Jets, the 2-14 Oakland Raiders locked up the No. 1 overall pick in April’s draft yesterday.

“I have no idea what we’ll do with the pick,” said head coach Art Shell. “And, interestingly enough, in the five minutes since the game ended I received calls from Brady Quinn to tell me that he is retiring, and from Adrian Peterson to say that he is dead. So I guess those guys won’t be options for us.”

All I know is the Raiders once again have the option to start a reconstruction year and beef up their off. line but it will be all up to AL and he will probably waste away the first round pick by trading it for some old broken QB, hey maybe he’ll pick McNabb….

I relished the last 3 weeks of the cowboys imploding. I was on the way back from out of town with a friend (a fan) who insisted on listening to the last half. I had to stifle my laughter on several occasions…it was awesome. I predict Eagles fans will NOT have a chance to play the cowboys a third time this year. Amazing how the Eagles have rebounded since getting rid of their bad gas (t.o.).

If The Corpse of Al Davis has anything to say about it, The Faders will draft the waterboy from Western Maryland.

Or maybe the Lacrosse Activites Director from Duke…
