Jeremy’s Head
From the "The-Kitchen-Sink" Department
Several topics are running around in my head this morning, but none of them are making their way into any kind of thoughtful text:
- Tony Snow was re-diagnosed with Cancer
- The cubicle jungle is currently in “lockdown” (which could be its own Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com Vernacular entry) but I’m hesitant to talk about the Not-So-Small-Software-Organization during tough times. Regardless, like most other Cubicle Culture behaviors, it just makes things more frustrating.
- This Blame Bush! article made me chuckle: If the Earth has a fever, what is Uranus suffering from? (I’m looking at you Stinkin’ Rick!)
- Ask-A-Ninja won the Best Series of 2006 YouTubie; this opened some doors somewhere, cause the Ninja is now doing celebrity interviews.
- Cisco just shot this story to me: A Hex on Saturn. I just have one comment: Why does the Sixth planet in the solar system have a six-sided atmospheric anomaly?

I’ve heard far more about Snow’s colon lately than about the British soldiers held by Iran. This disturbs me.

We must be reading/listening to different channels, Cisco.
Though, Mike Gallagher agrees with you, and says it is a ploy by the media to not incite its readers to think Iran is one of the bad guys.
*looking for his article on the subject*

That hex on Saturn is pretty wild!

I’m all for not inciting… but some facts would be nice. I guess what I’m really looking for is less non-news. I’ve probably heard all the facts there are on the Iran thing at this point. Hearing 24 hours of Iran /Britain speculation is not going to help anything.
I could do with 15 minutes of news that actually gave the facts and then just stopped.
