Here I Am
The Move is over, and the Jeremy-Gilby-dot-Compound Geek-O-Sphere has found the internet.
So, as far as the Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com readership cares, the move is complete.
So why do I still have all this unpacking to do?
One thing we missed was Dad’s birthday (November 6), so everyone should wish Dad a Happy Belated Birthday.
The amazing thing was, once everything was packed and in boxes. The four of us (with the help of a dozen friends) were able to pack a U-haul and Unpack it in less than three hours.
Simply Awesome. We have this down to a Science.
I have to single out the Nameless County Employee, as she spent all Friday Night packing up our *diverse* kitchen. That was probably the biggest chore of all.
I’ve promised her a Chocolate Martini Party in the near future. (Because nothing says “Thank You” like a bottomless Chocolate Martini.
I’m still trying to figure out what do with the phone. Debate rages on.
We will keep you posted.
I found some pretty interesting stuff in you-alls kitchen. And that’s all I’ve got to say about that. :)
