The Fourth Seal
7 When the Lamb broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature saying, “Come.”
8 I looked, and behold, an ashen horse; and he who sat on it had the name Death; and Hades was following with him. Authority was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by the wild beasts of the earth.
The End of the World is Nigh.
The Editors of Jeremy-Gilby-dot-com are now the owners of a Cellular Phone.
And part of me has died.
Jeremy R. Gilby is now officially on the Grid.
Well, we all knew this day was coming, I just put it off as long as I could, but given the Move, this weekend, it did not make any sense to install my landline to the new place. And I wanted to keep my old number so two-plus-two-equals-five.
And I remember posts like this.
Or This
Or This
Or This
Or that one
Yeah, and this one
Even this one
They are all still true.
I just hope I don’t turn into “That guy”, you know the one, who swears up and down that cell phones are evil, and then when he gets one becomes obsessed with it.
I hate the phone.

I knew it was God telling me to build that bomb shelter last year. Glad I listened.

I have a cell phone for many years now for emergency reasons, and I am still not that annoying person. Only a select few have the number. I need it so Joe and the kids can get a hold of me while I am out.
Do youself a favor and screen phone calls so not to burn up minutes. Caller ID is a wonderful thing. But you must always take my calls!!!

Give me you cell number Jer. Hey, should be heading out to Jerizona in a few weeks. We can test it then. ;)
PS: get it through your head, the person is annoying (with or without phone). The phone does not make one annoying. The phone is merely a medium through which their annoyingness is expressed.

That is my fear, Cisco, that I’m really annoying and the Cell Phone has not exposed it yet.
