T-Minus less than Two weeks.
I was attending a wedding this weekend of one of my long-time friends, and the conversation at my table drifted slightly into the political. (I blame The-Evil-Doctor-Merlin-Channing-Lowe-Jr., who was seated at said table thus designating this an area for the Dark Cabal that Controls Everything.)
Anyways, one of the other wedding guests said the following:
“If I vote early, can I be exempt from the rest of the Presidential Campaign?”
It was very poignant. But I had to point out the fact that Arizona is a relatively safe Red State, so neither campaign is targeting ads at us.
“Just be thankful we do not live in a swing state.”
So to you swing states out there, I can’t understand your pain. But do this country proud and vote.
For my liberal friends, please remember that Election Day is the first Wednesday of November.

I wonder if early voting impacts the vote much. Once people vote early, they can’t change their mind by anything that comes up after. People who voted early thus far would essentially be unswayed by the whole Libya issue, etc. I wonder how many people regret their early vote and if that is a significant percentage of people. Just a thought.
