The Boxer Jihad

From the "Boxer-Day" Department

What is up with Barbara Boxer? Its like everyday is Boxer Day.

You might remember, the Congressional Debable, where Boxer led a jihad to contest the results of Ohio (to meerly make a statement in opposition to GWB, but in reality made a statement that she is just a whiney obstructionist.)

Now she has her sites set on Dr. Condoleezza Rice.

(Aside: The haughty french-looking Massachusetts Democrat, who by-the-way also served in Vietnam was also in attendance. It was nice to see that Junior Senator from the Kennedy Compound bothered to show up.)

So, does Boxer just dislike Dr. Rice? President Bush? or Republicans in general?
She seems to be on her own here. Even the Senior Senator from California (Diane Feinstein) doesn’t want to play this game that “Babs” (the Junior Senator from California) is playing.

(If Boxer keeps this up, she will come close to being my most disliked Congressperson – and steal the title from the Congressional Pimp from New York.)

So what is her deal? Is she trying to become the next Mrs. Tom Daschle? (We know what happened to him.)

Don’t cry for me, California

Well, whatever Boxer is doing, she is getting headlines. And as Best of the Web suggests:

If the GOP wants to thwart Democratic obstructionism, it will make sure Barbara Boxer gets as much public attention as possible.

The one thing I find the most frustrating is the lowering of the signal-to-noise ratio.

For example, as Outside the Beltway presents. Boxer doesn’t seem to know what she is talking about when she delivered her “sound byte”.

Why does Boxer need to “make stuff up”?

  2. This one Dad?

“We can have this discussion in any way that you would like, but I really hope that you will refrain from impugning my integrity,” Rice told Boxer. “I really hope that you will not imply that I take the truth lightly.”

  3. Boxer gets caught in her own lie
Senator Barbara Boxer (Raving Moonbat-CA), in her zeal to try to attack Secretary of State-designee Condoleezza Rice during confirmation hearings on Capitol Hill yesterday, falsely insisted that WMD was the only thing that Congress voted on when author…
